The EUhackathon projects are assessed every year by a jury composed of a mix of engineers, civil society representatives and policy-makers. Find below our 2 first jury members, more names and bios will be posted here closer to the date of the event.

Jury Members

Deepali Adlakha
Deepali Adlakha

Deepali Adlakha has just completed her bachelors in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. She currently work as a Software Engineer in Ads Brands with Facebook London. During her internship at Microsoft Research Redmond, she worked on RoomAlive, which is a proof-of-concept system that transforms any room into an immersive entertainment experience through augmented reality. She likes working on cool and impactful stuff.

Beate Jost
Beate Jost

Beate Jost joined Fraunhofer IAIS in 2009 and works as a tech-lead in the Roberta Initiative. She has obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences after working for more than 20 years for the Ministry of Finance in Germany. As a Roberta-Coach she trains teachers and students in coding and robotics and she is an active member of the Robocup Junior Jury.

Serge Linckels
Serge Linckels

Serge Linckels is a computer-science teacher since 1997. Since 2014, he is also working for the Luxembourg Ministry of Education, Children and Youth (MENJE), where he is the co-coordinator of the BEE CREATIVE initiative, which helps to prepare youngsters for the digital challenge. At MENJE he is also the coordinator for the ‘media and information Litearcy’ group of SCRIPT and of eduSphere, MENJE’s digital teaching and learning environment.

Frederik Schweiger
Frederik Schweiger

Frederik Schweiger is a young full-time computer science student living in Germany, who’s chief interest is creating and inventing new stuff. He started programming at the age of 13, and joined the Google Developer Group Düsseldorf a few years ago where he held several talks about Google related technologies. Currently he is employed as an Android Developer at Rheinfabrik where he is working on the Trivago app.
